Bloggy Round Up!

Image
Hello everyone!! I thought I'd do a blog round up, featuring a few of the blogs that inspired me to start this one. :D First up is:   Lizzy Knits   She's a Knitter for the most part but she also crochets, and she offers a lot of tips for peopl who are interested in knitting and yarn arts.  This past weekend she did some yarn dying and bleaching and they turned out beautifully! She also recently made a batman sweater that I'm insanely jealous of, so please go check out her blog and giver her some love! Next up we have: Forever Last In Line Carolyn does a few different things. She crochet's, knits, and repurposes clothes. And she's rather comical. I love to read her blog, she shares a lot of tips on many different things. She too has recently tried dying yarn, with kool aid and tea, both had interesting results. She recently blogged about a scrap blanket that's been fourteen years in the making, which is amazing, and a Deer hat she made

Teddy Bear...I think

Image
So, I was working on a Teddy bear for the giveaway winner, she wants Purple and blue, so I was working with the purple, but the more I did the less I liked that particular purple. But by the time I decided that I didn't want to use that color anymore I had 5 pieces done...so I decided to finish it up in different colors and work on her's again. I didn't end up with a very...bear looking Ami, but I tried! And I brushed the yarn to make it fuzzy, though I think I liked the unbrushed look better. Here Teddy is sitting with Corny an ami that I won in a giveaway on facebook!  And now for something completely weird!  This little yarn frog. They had a pig as well, but I liked the Frog better. :D He was cute and fun, and my mom was kind enough to buy him for me. Isn't she sweet? :D Sola Fide Bliss

Frosted!

So couple of weeks ago, we had more snowy frost stuff on our tree's and such, and here are a few photo's my mom took of it. (because it was FAR too cold for ME to be out there.) Have a great day everyone! Sole Fida  Bliss

Moody Mood Blocks

Image
Sooo, I've been working on my mood blocks, changing them from the African flower to a solid granny square. I'm recycling the yarn from the other blocks so I don't waste any, but it seems like it's taking FOREVER to catch up. I am however, keeping track of my mood days in a little notebook I bought for that purpose so that's good. I'm doing three days per block, three rows per color. So far I have 5 blocks done, so 15 days. So I'm not too awfully behind. Just you know, 44 days I think.  xD Sola Fide Bliss
