Knitting
Guys! I taught myself to knit!!! I am SO proud of myself. It took for. ever. To knit this length of scarf before I ran out of yarn. It made me sad...because I had to frog it. I'm working on a new one now, a skinnier one. So maybe it will get long enough this time!! But I'm just so excited about being able to do this now. :D I can't wait until I'm good enough to knit socks!!! that's really the only reason I want to knit...is so I can knit socks. xD

Congrats! I remember that feeling when I learned to crochet. Your stitches look very neat.
ReplyDeleteThank you! My hands are still getting used to holding two needles instead of one hook, but I really like being able to say that I can knit lol
DeleteCongratulations! I tried knitting and it didn't quite work out - I want to persevere though! Your scarf is a lovely colour :)
ReplyDeleteYes, persevere! I tried to learn knitting for the first time, about the same time as my grandmother taught me to crochet when I was child, and didn't do either one very well. But I figured since I picked up crochet so easily now that I'm older I would try knitting again. :D I still can't do anything other than the knit stitch just yet but it's start! : D
DeleteGreat job Bliss! Your stitches are really nice and neat.
ReplyDeleteWell done Bliss!! This is nicely done..
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!! :D
DeleteFabulous!! I wanted to learn to knit to make mittens, hats & socks. Still haven't tried socks ;) The scarf looks great, being able to frog and redo is something I like about knitting. Good luck with the next scarf :) Wendy x
